“These work well. In our area it would be nice if they made a larger size as we electrify 14 ga. high tensile barbed wire and the barbs can't pass through the opening in the insulator. Kencove recommends against electrifying barbed wire but we use two wire, both hot, in very rural areas on large acreages. It is pronghorn and deer friendly and doesn't let tumbleweeds slide to the posts as smooth wire does.”
