“I usually got these insulators/tensioners in Europe, because I couldn't find them anywhere in the US. So happy that they are now available here. I use them as starting insulators or in corners. They keep the tape nice and tight and look good too.”
“I used these to temporarily start and end some short runs of 1.57" tape, and I haven't had to tension the fence yet. I don't think I'm going to have to switch them out like I had planned, they work great. They have a little ribbed rubber area that sandwiches the tape together holding it - and it really holds! I'd give 5 stars, but my 5yr old fence installer helper lost one screw, which rendered the insulator useless. They came not screwed in very tight and fell out in the process of getting them from the box to the field. The fact that losing a screw renders them useless is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Maybe offer a separate purchase of additional screws for us clumsy people that lose things?”
