“I run two Parmak solar fencers year round for horses in Minnesota. First set of batteries lasted 5 and 7 years respectively. Longer than I expected for sure. I have tried several other fencers, and this one has been the best. The only time it struggles is on December and January when the sunlight hours are too short to fully charge the battery packs”
