“Great design but be gentle in your mounting and tightening. If you screw it to a wood post, go slow in the last little bit of securing the screws, the pressure of the screws final tightening will crack the bracket. Also go easy on the final tightening of the wire behind the nut. Use a 7/8" socket for easier installation.”
“I think it is serviceable and good quality, especially for the price, though I actually need a 3-way switch (which you don't sell). I would modify it by lengthening/raising the first set of contacts so they engage with the knife further from contact with the second set.”
“I have used other fence switches before but they are usually small and cheaply made. This is made of so solid material. I used this with underground 12 gauge wire leading to each line. The bright yellow handle helps prevent accidental shocks.”
