This Power-Surge Protector is designed to help protect your energizer from electrical surges or spikes coming from your main power source. Must be plugged into a grounded outlet. The built in LED tells you the surge protector is properly grounded and that your energizer is protected. This device also features an alarm that signals when the surge protection circuit has exceeded its capacity, at which point, the surge protector should be replaced. Provides up to 1,080 joules of protection.

“Recently I purchased a Power Surge protector because one of my fence chargers suddenly lost output volts. The source of the problem was found to be the charger itself. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Even though the Charger was under warranty, it still cost me $15 in postage. To counter this, I bought the protector in hopes it will prevent it from happening again. Time will tell. The 5 stars was based on Kencove's quick delivery/price”

“Bought a set just like this earlier and put on a 100 mile unit and have had no trouble with it ,so bought another set for my other unit,cheaper than having them repaired. Works so far.”
