14/48"/7" Electric Netting, Posi/Neg - 164' Reviews

4.8 Rating 8 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Positive/negative netting is perfect for dry regions or for ultimate control. In this system the animal completes the circuit through the net. Safely contains large poultry, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, and other small animals while providing superior protection from predators. The lightweight, portable design allows the fence to be moved and set up repeatedly with no tools required. Creates pastures and enclosures in minutes.
- 14 horizontal lines, 48" height, 7" vertical line spacing
- Semi-rigid vertical stays provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts, which could cause shorting
- Horizontal lines are spaced closer together at the bottom and farther apart at the top to provide excellent predator control
- Long-lasting, highly conductive, 304 stainless-steel conductors ensure years of reliable service
- Braided top strand provides unparalleled strength
- 13 double-spiked step-in posts are built into the netting for easy installation
- Orange/green, 164' length

A fence charger is required to electrify the netting. We recommend a .25-joule, low-impedance charger minimum per net. (Example: 4 nets connected together requires a 1-joule charger.)

I have 8 of these fences. Four I purchased several years ago and four that I recently purchased. The fences work well. The newer fences are much improved though. The posts are bigger diameter and the fence feels higher quality. However, when installing the fences I found that several places in each fence the bottom wire was not attached to the foot peg. I had to problem solve in the middle of a remote field with limited tools and it was not an easy fix. In addition, both times I have purchased these fences, the peg that is supposed to be sharpened was inconsistently fabricated. Many of the posts are not sharp or are not adequately ground to a point. I had to use an angle grinder to fix them. Overall very happy with the fences, just would like to see a little more conscientious quality control.

Just put up three sections of this fence. Fence seems to be of good quality and I was able to install it by myself. It is really east to install on open and flat ground but I am installing in on a hill with lots of veg and brush so having a helper in those spots is highly recommended as I couldn't lay out the fence on the ground. Even then, its light enough to hold the entire section in your arms while inserting each post. Even with going up, down and across a hill I was very surprised how stable and taught the fence is when installed. Overall seems to be a good product and less expensive than others online and much less than at my local feed and seed store. Time will tell on durability.

I like the+/- netting as it stops animals from climbing and chewing holes in the netting as they will always be touching a ground and hot wire even if they jump up onto the fence. we leave them up in the winter and they work even in the snow. As all electric fence a daily check is needed to be sure no branches ECT. are on the fence and it is easy to move and mow around as the livestock eat right up to the netting all is needed is to put the posts into the cleared ground, get on you mower, then you done keeps yard and pasture neat without having grass growing by posts and gates. We have 8 rolls and move them around so our goats and sheep always have fresh grass and brush.

We never thought that it would work out as well as it has. The goats love it and so do we. I don’t even have to cut that part of the yard anymore.

Excellent product designed for durability and ease of installation. Chose the POS/NEG fencing for expanded application to maintain/contain a goat lot clearing business.

Great purchase. We have several sets of these fence sets and are able to move our goats around as needed allowing us to intensively graze areas. It is a bit cumbersome to put up and take down, but lightweight and sturdy once set up and properly braced. Seems plenty durable thus far.

Works great. The goats and sheep stay put now. Our fence jumping goat, Molly decided not to jump this fence. Between the higher fencing and Stafix X2 2 Joule energizer she decided it wasn't worth trying.
