“These would break a lot less if completely made out of metal or even aluminum. They also should be sharpened. I wonder if anyone at Kencove actually has used in drier climate?”
“Considering the difference in price between the replacement foot and a new post, I'd go for the new post next time. The foot is a real bear the get on and that's after you get the old one off which is another issue. Instructions would have been greatly appreciated if there's an easy way to install the replacement foot. It's roughly $2 more for the new post. Your time is probably worth more than that.”
“These post feet look like they might be sturdier than the originals. Had to get help putting them on properly as they were tricky to attach - maybe a how to video would've helped. Time will tell how durable they are, but so far so good!”
