Electric Netting 12/40"/7" - Posi/Neg, 164' Reviews

3.9 Rating 13 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Positive/negative netting is perfect for dry regions or for ultimate control. In this system the animal completes the circuit through the net. Safely contains sheep, goats, pigs, and dogs while providing superior protection from predators. The lightweight, portable allows the fence to be moved and set up repeatedly with no tools required. Creates pastures and enclosures in minutes.
- 12 horizontal lines, 40" height, 7" vertical line spacing
- Semi-rigid vertical stays provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts, which could cause shorting
- Horizontal lines are spaced closer together at the bottom and farther apart at the top to provide excellent predator control
- Long-lasting, highly conductive, 304 stainless-steel conductors ensure years of reliable service
- Braided top strand provides unparalleled strength
- 13 double-spiked step-in posts are built into the netting for easy installation
- Orange/green, 164' length

A fence charger is required to electrify the netting. We recommend a .25-joule, low-impedance charger minimum per net. (Example: 4 nets connected together requires a 1-joule charger.)

This works quite well. I have a gentle slope where the fencing is placed so I need to buy additional posts to diminish the sag. Post in my install are every 7.5 feet not 13. This is described as a temporary fencing and it would not be good to use it for a permanent installation as the posts are minimally anchored to the ground.

Just installed this. I bought it for a temporary yard, where my daughter is renting. Everything worked right the first time. The test will be in longevity. If it holds up well, I plan on getting a couple more for my garden and sections or my yard I would prefer the dogs not have free run of. It is fast and easy, and I can change my mind on how big or small I want my yard. Living on 5 acres, I seem to change my mind alot. My friend, that helped with the installation said he needs one for his place..

Bought this after a bear got to my beehive and devoured the contents one fall (bees, honey, sugar, everything). Also put the fence around the whole garden to protect it from rabbits, groundhogs, raccoons, and other critters. It worked well - the bear did not return for the hive, no animals in the garden (even the deer seemed to leave it alone), and the fence held up nicely. Now going into the second year of using the fence. Branches tended to get easily stuck in the netting, as do leaves in the fall. It's on uneven, rocky ground but the posts hold up well to being pounded into the hard ground - I haven't bent or broken one yet, but am here to order additional posts to hold the netting up from the ground better to keep it from drooping and shorting out.

Package arrived shortly after ordering and nothing looked damaged or out of place. The netting tangles pretty easily on itself, any tree branches it comes close to or anything else that it can hook on, but that's probably unavoidable for something like this. Unfolding / moving it with care minimizes the tangling.
