4.1 Rating 10 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

The Kencove PD80 Post Driver is durable and reliable.
- Drives steel posts, wood posts, and railroad ties up to 7⅛" diameter X 10' tall
- 30,000 pounds of impact at full stroke
- Manual tilt features: 15-degree front-back and 15-degree side-side
- Comes complete with 3-point hitch Category I & II and secure-stand base
- Maximum hydraulic limit: 2,500 PSI

The return line (dump line) must return to your hydraulic fill reservoir. This line cannot be quick coupled back into your machine.

When driving 4x4 or 6x6 square posts, we recommend drilling a pilot hole to help keep the post straight. You can also use the back corner of the beam as a guide for the post to help keep it straight.

NOTE: Some assembly is required.

I have been fencing in New Hampshire, the "Granite State" for about 50 years. Sheep fence, deer fence, elk fence, cattle fence, you name it, I fenced and I thought I knew most everything about fencing. My fences were strong, straight and something to be proud of. However, after picking up an order at Kencove my life has changed. This post driver has made my life so much easier I could almost enjoy fencing now. In the past I used an auger to drill a hole then place the post then tamp it in but this thing is so easy to use and does such a great job that I only wish I was smarter 50 years ago and picked one up then so I wouldn't be in the poor shape I am now. I was extreamly hesitant to buy one since mostly what I farm is rocks and trying to drill a hole is a joke. Most of the time I end up using my excavator to dig a hole to get by all the rocks then back fill around the post and tamp it in. I figured this thing couldn't do a good job with all the rocks but I was wrong. By all means, if you do any fencing at all, do your self a favor and buy one NOW! You will be happy to did. I will be happy to show you photos of what I drive posts into and trust, you won't believe it. If I can drive posts into old stone walls I am sure anyone can use one of these things and be tickled pink. Easy to hook up, easy to use but does require a bit of a learning curve to get good at it. It took me about 10 to 15 posts before I got good at it but now I laugh like a fool when driving those GD things into the ground. Get one or be sorry you didn't!
