“The handle is too close to the reel and you shock your knuckle working hot wire. I bought five of these along with Tru-Test and Obriens about a year and a half ago. The Kencove bobbins are starting to crack. Reels are still useable but I don't think for too much longer. The gearing is smooth but that's not worth the ten or fifteen dollar savings given the other faults.”
“I purchased two of these reels and put over 1600' of electric twine on each reel. Makes moving temporary electric fences a breeze and I'm extremely glad I purchased the reels with the gears! Make it much quicker! I have also been using one of the reels to pull a line to install fence posts. I can quickly run a line over 1600', install the posts and quickly reel in the line. The best idea I have used for temporary electric fence and installing fence posts!”
“Haven't used it long enough to know how it holds up. Slide the plastic handle on and tie a regular electric fence handle on. Then you can make a V from the hot wire on top of you woven permanent fence and the plastic handle right on the woven fence.”
