When installing high tensile wire, achieving proper tension is crucial to the performance and effectiveness of your fence. Strainers, like the KIWI Quick-End Strainer, make tensioning wire easy.
The KIWI Quick-End Strainer is a one-of-a-kind strainer designed to reduce time and eliminate the need for crimp sleeves when attaching to high tensile wire. The unique Quick-End allows 12.5ga high tensile wire to pass through but prevents it from backing out even under tension. The wire becomes locked in place once inserted. The strength of the Quick-End exceeds the break strength of high tensile wire and will not slip under tension.
The KIWI Quick-End Strainer also saves time with coated wire by minimizing how much coating needs to be stripped off in order to attach a strainer.
This strainer features a spring-loaded flap that catches each turn of the cog to ensure it remains safe and secure while increasing tension. Use a strainer handle to ratchet the cog and remove slack in the wire.
The hot-dipped galvanized strap along with the zinc cog makes for a long-lasting strainer that can handle years of weather and exposure to the elements.
With decades of consistent performance and strength, this American-made strainer is a great choice for any high tensile fence.

Use Item # TFHC for your strainer handle, and you cannot go wrong with this product. Made my installation of my trellises go way quicker by reducing the number of crimps necessary. Way worth the extra couple of cents over the non-Quick-End model.

I will never buy regular strainers again. These are invaluable for coated wire and bare wire projects alike. Do wish the strap metal was a little thicker so it wasn't as likely to seperate

I've been using strainers, most of them crimp on strainers on my hi-tensile fences in California for 25 years. About three years ago some of these Quick End strainers were sent by mistake. I'll probably never buy any other kind of strainer again. The Quick-End strainers make the job a lot easier. They are very fast to use, just cut your wire to length and push it 1" into the strainer. Done. In the years I've been using them I've never had a problem with them even when I'm putting extra tension on them in a brace wire. Highly Recommended

I want to thank you for the time you took with me, helping place my order. I am new to this and had no idea what I needed. You were very helpful and very professional. It was such a pleasure dealing with your company. Everyone knew what they were talking about. That does not happen too often these days. Once again thanks so much for such professionalism. Your company is a 20 out of a scale of 1 to 10!!!
