This tensioner is specifically designed for use with coated wire (Hotcote®, Horsecote or Kencote). Simply tighten with ½" drive ratchet. Hot-dip galvanized and powder coated for superior rust resistance.

“I think they are built good with good quality however I believe the pins should be longer and have a pin to be able to lock in place so they don’t fall out”

“Good Product but you have to cut your fence so I was a bit sad about that. I wish it had a split spool like the flex fence it would have made life soooo much easier & I wouldn't have had to cut my fence, just make sure you have enough slack. On the bright side after we installed the 1st one we crimped the fence by installing 1 pin before any cutting. That allowed an Z shaped bend that when cut in the center left perfect shape to feed on to the spool and install. But highly recommend a split spool”
