I used them on all corner bracing wires and each fence wire. Watch the hole in the spinner, as a sharp edge can cause a kink and the wire will break. Work great if you think you will ever break the run to add another gate or walkway, just loosen them up and cut in the middle, much safer then cutting line under full tension, also is nice if you need to replace a post you can loosen the wires and push them out of the way. I accidentally caught a wire in spinning skidloader tire and it broke right at the 90* bend going into the spinner, If you are looking for maximum strength with the least chance of breaking these might not be for you.

Work great and are much quicker then making an extra splice to add other types of strainers.

I love the way that you can just slide this strainer on and put it EXACTLY where you want it with no crimping! I'm using this on corner post down-hauls, but I'll probably use them on trellis wires too. The extra expense is certainly worth the convenience. Ordering more!
