“A lot of metal for a low price '1/2" ratchet tightens well, but a third hand helpful to attach the clip when going for very tight The handle would provide the extra control by using a leg or body to hold back evenly, freeing up a hand. If you are buying a bunch of these I'd get or make a handle. I really like the ability to use on existing wires without cutting. I'm building long runs, tightening with puller, and then adding these as wires loosen from age, an economical solution.”
“Same price and specs of the other product but this one is made in USA. So naturally I only keep this one on hand. Works every time and is easy enough to tighten or even loosen a line. They are cheaper than the ratcheting strainers and have less moving parts, so are less likely to fail. And if you lose the pen, two nails work fine.”
