“works great was easy to finish putting up our fence. Saw it on Internet, and it fixed our problem we had homemade stretchers. This attaches to the wire that is horizonal instead of the vertical wire the homemade stretcher pulling all the wires together.”
“Though expensive, this tool works well and quickly. Vast improvement over 2x4s or wooden stretchers. I bought this because I am using narrow gauge high tensile woven wire. The wedges are easily hammered in and out of the bar. I bough two and have found I can now put up a woven wire fence alone if I spice in the middle after tying off at both ends of a run. This is really a vast improvement in the workflow and worth the price I think. Made in China, but they seem good, and are a bit less expensive than a Hayes bar.”
“Came on time. Haven't used them yet but they look just as sturdy as more expensive ones I've used. Would definitely recommend. There's not much to go wrong with.”
“I have stretched alot of woven wire with 2x4 with bolts to squeeze the wire with and it was not only frustrating but time consuming. With the stretcher bar there is no hassle. You lay it down lay the wire over it drive in the stays and it's ready to go. It's that simple and fast. No slip,no cut wires, a real time saver and extremely easy to use.”
“Was scheduled to be delivered on time but apparently the packaging was so bad that ups would not deliver it. They pulled it off the truck to inspect for damage because the packaging was torn so bad the "product" was completely outside the package. Not sure if it is a kencove packaging issue or a ups mishandling but regardless no stretcher bar to review! Once I receive the bar it will more than likely get a 5star”
“I got the 4 foot stretcher bar. I have used 2x4,s and bolts for years that worked but were very slow. The Kencove bar is great and saves a lot of time.”
