Fencer's Choice has improved the way the traditional stretcher bar works. The wedges are placed vertically and staggered on the bar, making it easy to place the wire in the center of the bar. This system is especially useful when working with 2"x4" woven wire or 3" verticals. 4' wire clamp with 5 wedges.

“This makes stretching fence much easier and cleaner than the 3 hook style I have used previously. I used this on 6 ft tall no climb with great results and will also be using it on 4 ft tall ranch fencing here soon.”

“One of the best fencing purchases I made. I have used another type of wire strainer my grandfather had used - 2x4 s clamp together with bolts. It worked well, but this one has increased my efficiency many times over. I highly recommend this clamp for anyone putting up woven wire fence. I am putting up 5' woven wire - hence the 6' clamp”

“The 72 inch height does not seem practical, otherwise the clamp is well made. As we have never stretched wire over 48 inches high, I will cut the wire clamp down. It certainly will beat the wire clamps that bolt together.”

“best new fencing tool I have purchased in years!! stretched a 100 foot run the first day after I received it---worked great---I bought the 6 footer which will also work for a 4 foot fence just fine but I am thinking I might buy the 4 foot version also just to have both sizes available”

“Great for stretching 6 foot deer fence.Other stretchers tear up the wire.Built to last a lifetime.Only thing that takes a bit time to get used to is the weight.(its heavy) I also have it in 4 foot.Best stretcher on the market.”
