The TSJHH Spinning Jenny with brake's primary purpose is to uncoil high tensile wire. The L bolt arms are adjustable to fit different diameters of wire making the jenny more versatile.
The rewind hoop is not present when unrolling wire for initial building.
We found there was a need for a way to recoil high tensile wire already installed on a fence to be reused. The rewind hoop is designed to roll back up in a coiled form. In order for the recoiled wire to be payed out properly on the jenny the L bolt arms need to be tight against the rewind hoop to allow the wire to keep form.
During out initial design and manufacture we found this system of adding the hoop when needed and removing it, the most economical process.
