Dereeler is ok. Bolts and nuts are of low quality but steel frame is strong enough for the job. Not impressed with this dereeler. I would look for a different model if I had to purchase another dereeler.

A must if you're trying to unwind high tinsel wire... This one is more reasonably priced than a lot of the others & works just as well, especially nice is the rubber braking ring that prevents a lot of free wheeling resulting in tangled wire on the spool...

I ordered one of these for Kencote and Hotcote wire. It didn't fit. The inner diameter of the roll is 14.5". After drilling 4 new holes to re-position the hooks it worked without flaw. Wish they listed the inner diameter of the spool for the wire. Better yet... drill more holes so it fits a wider variety of spool sizes right from the factory. Still, I gave it 4 stars because it really does work for a very reasonable price.

I own this spinning jenny and have successfully used it. However, unless you have a bit of very hard, flat, grass-free ground to drive the axle spike into, you will not have any success. I do not have any ground like that anywhere on my property, much less where I'm putting up fence, so I had to make a base for it. I used a piece of plywood large enough to cover the area beneath the spinning jenny, and I drilled a hole for the axle spike in the plywood. This setup works in most locations for me.
