16 gauge high-tensile wire makes it possible to build subdivision fences quickly and at a low cost. This wire will take over 10 years of abuse with minimal maintenance. The end and corner posts do not need to be braced because this wire acts as a lightweight rubber band. Since less weight is suspended, less tension is required. Light ⅜" - 1½" fiberglass rod posts can be used for the majority of the line posts. Wood posts or t-posts should be used at ends and corners. This wire is more of a psychological barrier rather than a physical barrier, so it needs to be electrified. Coils fit a standard spinning jenny, which may also be used to rewind the wire. If rewinding, use the largest diameter on your jenny.Class 3 galvanized high-tensile wire210 KSI, 16 gauge1,000' coilCoils have 1 full-strength splicePolished electroplateIdeal for interior electric fencesRequires minimal maintenanceMinimum break strength = 614 lbs
