We bought this for the arena at our county fairgrounds. One of our neighbors has it at home and we were impressed with how it looked, how stable and durable it was, and how easy it was to maintain. We are happy with it at the Fairgrounds, too.

I love this fence wire. It looks much nicer than bare wire, the horses can easily see it & there are no injuries to them. The coated wire is a little more costly, but well worth it to me.

Unfortunately we wrong assumed this was able to be electrified, because...... Well, what's the point of coated wire that can't be electrified? It's the same price as hotcote, but now we're buying double in order to have electric strands to keep livestock in. I'm sure it will hold up, the quality looks decent, but it's completely useless for most types of livestock. Extremely disappointing.

WE have fenced with Kencote for 5 years now. Currently over 15 acres are in Kencote. Love it. Not hard to install, very safe horse fence. Last winter a herd of elk came through, hit it and bent 2 T posts about 30 degree angles. The Kencote did not break! Love how it looks, love how you can really make it tight without worries. Very horse safe. Our neighbors horses have gotten hung up in barb wire and the hog wire they use to corral their horses, no worries with Kencote. Am buying 3 more rolls this week to fence more acres!

About two years ago, my barn manager convinced me to install Kencote fencing. While it was more expensive than other electric fence, we were able to put wood posts 50' apart and still have the fence perform beautifully, so it worked out to be about the same installed cost as other options. El Nino has not been good to us here in central Texas. We had one 24-hour period where 13" of rain fell in the watershed just above us, resulting in a flood of near Biblical proportions. Water in our lower pastures rose to an 8' deep torrent, moving very fast. The most amazing thing is while the force of the water was strong enough to rip 6" cement-cased posts out of the ground, the Kencote fence kept them from being washed away. My neighbor had used the more common rope-type electric fence, and all of that is currently headed to the Gulf of Mexico, stripped off his t-posts, which are now at a 30-degree angle to the ground. I am just amazed at the strength and durability your product.
