What I Loved:
It’s made with 100% plant-based ingredients like henna and indigo, so you don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals. It felt good knowing I wasn’t putting anything toxic on my hair.
The medium brown shade came out rich and warm, adding a natural, healthy-looking shine. It’s not flat or fake-looking at all.
I had some grays that I was a little skeptical about, but they’re completely covered. For really stubborn grays, you might want to use Khadi Pure Henna first as a base, but I didn’t have to.
After rinsing it out, my hair felt so soft and smooth. It almost feels like a deep conditioning treatment as well as a color.
The Downsides:
This isn’t like a quick box dye. You have to mix the powder with water, apply it, and leave it on for a couple of hours. It’s a bit of a commitment, but the results are worth it.
There’s definitely a natural, earthy smell to it, which might not be for everyone. I didn’t mind it, but it’s something to be aware of.
