I wanted to color gray roots with a blond color which would blend with new gray hair as it grows out so I used color prep as instructed followed by dark blonde henna. It came out dark brown/black with blue roots. Hope the photo downloads- having problems.”

“The color came out good, but having to use the color prep first makes for a lenghty and expensive coloring to do every month. I have about 80% long gray hair, and I did get full coverage of the grays. Also, SO MUCH BETTER THAN USING CHEMICAL DYES. I just ditched Madison Reed for good...after using their product for 4 years, my ends were fried from their harsh chemicals. Khadi is WAY better, and gives the gray coverage. I next tried light brown, which required no prep, and the color for me came out dark brassy carrotty red...won't use that one again. Will try medium blonde or medium brown, both which can be used without the prep.”
