“The Dark Brown shade looks very natural, covers gray hair well, and leaves my hair healthy and glossy. The color lasts around one and a half months and most important, I have used it while nursing: its safe for me and my baby…when I tried to use it in the garden, even butterflies came to my head and I couldn’t be in the garden any longer!! That shows that is very natural, do not irritate eyes, throat or scalp.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product covered my stubborn gray hair. The color payoff was excellent, and it did a much better job than other natural dyes I’ve tried. I’d give it solid marks for performance. Unfortunately, the smell is absolutely horrendous. The odor was so strong it gave me a headache and lingered long after rinsing. If the formula could be improved to reduce the smell, this would easily be a five-star product. As it stands, great results, but be prepared for the scent.”
“For gray coverage, one needs tonapply henna first, keep for min 3 hours then rinse and then apply indigo.. leave for 1 hr, rinse.
This single application pack doesn’t cover grays.”
“I recently tried Khadi Natural Hair Color, and unfortunately, it did not work for me. I followed the instructions carefully, but the color didn’t take as expected, and the results were very minimal. It also didn’t provide the coverage I was hoping for, especially on my grays.”
“I completed chemo a few months ago and when my hair grew back it was light gray in areas. I chose this product based on reviews and I wanted a natural product. It turned my entire head of hair green. I thought I had done something wrong, triple checked the instructions and I had followed everything as instructed. I washed my hair a couple of times and the green is mostly gone but my hair color is now a very weird brown. I wish I would not have chosen this product.”
“I have been using the dark brown color for several years, however to cover the grey at the roots especially at the front and sides of my hairline, it does not offer adequate coverage and the color of my hair beyond the scalp is just too dark.
In the past I combined 2 colors Dark Brown and Hazelnut or Medium Brown. Although it is totally natural, I prefer not to continue to color my hair in order to fully cover the gray. In addition, once I begin washing my hair after the first coloring, the color becomes lighter.”
