I tried wheatgrass powder for the first time earlier this year - and really liked it. I have also recently ordered organic carob powder and goji berry powder from Kiki Health, and was very impressed with the quality, so was keen to try their wheatgrass powder. I notice that, like the first wheatgrass powder I tried, it comes all the way from New Zealand, which must be the go-to place for growing wheatgrass. As with Kiki Health's other products, it ticks all the boxes for me. It's a well-established, UK-based company that has been trading for 25 years, and this wheatgrass powder is 100% organic and completely free from artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers. I also like the packaging - a glass jar with a screw top metal lid, so fully recyclable. What's more, aside from all its health benefits, I actually rather like the taste of wheatgrass; I don't have a sweet tooth, so enjoy its slightly grassy flavour, which reminds me of matcha green tea. I have tried it in my morning porridge, and know from previous experience that only a tiny amount turns my porridge bright green! I shall also be using it in soups, sauces and savoury dishes this winter. As a little goes a long way, 100g is going to last me a good long time, making the current price of £11.96 very reasonable for a product of this quality.

When I was a nutrition student at college, the lecturers used to recommend KIKI Health as a one of the trusted brands they liked to use, so every time I see a KIKI Health product, I feel a sense of trust about it. I love that this is 100% organic (confirmed by the Soil Association logo on the back). As a grass, wheatgrass contains loads of chlorophyll and has all the nutritional benefits of that. It's also alkalizing and anti-inflammatory which is great. I love that it's so high fibre (and decent protein levels too) so it can help to neutralize the glycaemic index of a more sugary smoothie for example. Being really high in iron, magnesium and calcium, it can be a good natural way to give those nutrients a boost as well. I've read that wheatgrass is high in good enzymes like super oxide dismutase (SOD) which is a great antioxidant. On the bottle they recommend 1 teaspoon of this. Some people may need to build up to a teaspoon slowly to get used to it, so may want to start with 1/4 teaspoon, build up to 1/2 and eventually move up to 1 teaspoon, to avoid any gastrointestinal discomfort that may come when you're not used to wheatgrass. I've heard that the powder is less likely to make you nauseous than other forms of wheatgrass though, so that's good.Note that since gluten is found in the grain/ seed and not the grass part of wheat, wheatgrass should be gluten-free if it's been carefully prepared to be kept separate from any grains/ seeds of the wheat, although as a precaution, it's probably best not used by coeliacs.

I'm never disappointed by the quality of supplements provided by reputable company KIKI Health and this Wheatgrass powder is no different. It's a fine green organic powder which mixes into a bright green drink with no added artificial stuff so gets a big tick from me. Despite the name, wheatgrass does not contain gluten either. The dosage is 1 teaspoon per day, and whilst the jar is quite big for 100g of powder I wonder how long this will last. I've been mixing the powder in warm water, and as long as you get the water spinning first with a good pre-stir the powder dissolves well. The colour and taste reminds me of Matcha green tea but no ceremony is required. I'd class taste as bearable, it's not horrible but not overly pleasant either. Maybe it's an acquired taste and I'll get used to it. Overall this is a quality product and I would recommend it.

Wheatgrass has an excellent nutritional profile, and is a well-known and much-respected health food. It’s also a good source of plant-based protein and contains valuable antioxidants. As such, I’ve long included it in my diet in blended drinks. However, I’m always looking for the best sources possible so am pleased to see it here in this particularly pure format, especially with the bottle stating its grown outside in nutrient-rich soil (which is more important than people may think). Also important is the preservation of the nutrients of which the darker bottle facilitates. Ensuring it’s only pure wheat grass is really important too so being free from additives and third-party testing for purity are big plusses, so this has to be given serious consideration for future acquisitions. The powder mixes well by hand in a tumbler of water, and tastes quite nice with a small amount of sweetness (not the usual bland taste one normally associates with unsweetened powders). It’s super versatile though, and I’ve already had it in a number of milk alternatives, and a blended fruit and vegetable drink. I can’t see why it can’t be added to a glass of cow’s milk or into soups (because it also goes well sprinkled onto the top of porridge, along with other powders to make for an energetic and nutrient-packed start to the day). It's a little more expensive than my normal supplier, but I could switch as I very much value the quality, purity and assurance here. A really good wheatgrass product.

I’ve been using KIKI Health Premium Organic Wheatgrass Powder for a few days now, and I am genuinely impressed with the results. The quality of the powder is superb – it’s finely ground, has a fresh, grassy taste, and mixes well into both smoothies and juices without any unpleasant clumping. One of the key things that drew me to this product was its natural and clean formulation. It’s organic, vegan-friendly, and made right here in the UK, which gives me added confidence in its quality and ethical standards. I’m also pleased that it’s free from fillers and additives, which is hard to find in many supplements. As for the benefits, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my energy levels and overall wellbeing. This wheatgrass powder is rich in minerals and offers a great boost, especially when I add it to my morning routine. Additionally, I’ve read that it supports muscle and bone health, which is important for me as I’m looking to maintain my fitness.Overall, I highly recommend KIKI Health’s Wheatgrass Powder for anyone looking to add a natural, nutrient-dense supplement to their diet. It’s well worth the investment and a fantastic addition to a health-conscious lifestyle.

I'm weird, and like the taste of wheatgrass. This has the same flavour hints when mixed with water.Supplied in a security sealed and resealable glass bottle. The powder is very fine. I manage to get it to dissolve in water after a fair amount of stirring, as the fine powder tends to sit on the water surface
