“This supplement is made from hemp seeds. Hemp protein is a plant-based protein powder. It is considered a complete protein because it contains all nine essential amino acids that the human body cannot produce on its own. It is high in fibre, healthy fats (like omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids), vitamins, and minerals, making it a useful supplement for people on a plant-based or vegan diet.I have used other products form this brand before and have always been very happy with the quality. Kiki is an independent, British-based, ethical company, and their products are naturally free from gluten and wheat, with no artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers, as well as being organic... all of which are important to me. With over 90% digestibility, KIKI Health’s Hemp Protein Powder is made from raw, cold-milled hemp, and free from GMOs and pesticides. It arrives in a dark glass bottle with a screw top lid and is sealed. It contains 235g and it is suggested to take 10g (two teaspoons) per day. This pot will last around 23 days, so less than a month’s supply. It is a dark green grainy powder. It mixes well with a smoothie. I have added it to my oats at breakfast time with yogurt and fruit and I can’t tell that it is there. The yogurt turns green, but there is no unpleasant taste, so this would be a great way to add extra protein to a meal. The price is reasonable because the quality is very good. I have been adding this to my breakfast for around two weeks and I think I feel the benefit. I feel I have more energy for exercise and my recovery also seems a little better.”
“I dissolve a couple of teaspoons of this hemp protein powder in a bottle of water when out for a long cycle ride. It turns the water a slightly murky browny-green, and whilst it's a little gritty, the slightly earthy flavour isn't unpleasant. Mixing it into porridge disguises the flavour completely. In either form, it's easy to digest. It comes in a glass jar, which is more environmentally conscious than putting it in plastic. In terms of benefit, I think it gives me more stamina when on the bike, as I don't feel as tired after a two hour ride. As I go out cycling a few times a week, this jar should last me about three months, on which basis it is good value for money.”
“It's not easy to find a plant-based protein without fillers or an odd aftertaste, but this hemp protein does well in that regard. The texture is grainy, as expected, and it blends smoothly into my post-bike ride smoothie when combined with almond milk and banana. The added benefit of being rich in magnesium and omega-3s makes it useful for recovery after cycling.I appreciate the choice of glass jars over plastic. It adds a more refined feel and contributes to environmental efforts. However, the taste is quite natural and strong. If you prefer flavoured options and only mix it with water, you might find it a bit surprising. A solid choice for those who prefer food without additives or excessive processing. That said, it can be a little expensive, more of an investment in quality rather than something for daily use in a smoothie routine.”
“I discovered this brand last year, and already have quite a few of their products, so was keen to try this organic hemp protein powder. Kiki Health is an independent, British-based, ethical company, and this product is naturally free from gluten and wheat, with no artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers. I also like the packaging - a glass jar with a screw top metal lid, so fully recyclable.I don't do workouts, or make smoothies, but I find that most of my Kiki Health supplements are great to add to my morning porridge. I ring the changes all the time by making porridge with different seeds and dried fruits, so tried adding a couple of teaspoons of this hemp powder to an apricot and sunflower seed porridge. I'd not tried hemp before, but found that this powder didn't have much of a taste at all - maybe slightly earthy, but not unpleasantly so. It therefore blended in well with my apricot porridge, but will basically go with any other flavoured porridge, making it a particularly versatile supplement.Kiki Health products are always rather expensive, but this jar is bigger than all my others, and contains 235g of powder. There is an error in the listing, as you are told to "Mix around two (2) tablespoons (30g) to a juice, smoothie or pure water." On the bottle it says that the serving size is 2 teaspoons (10g) and that there are 23 servings per bottle - so not bad value, given that I have always found Kiki Health supplements to be very good quality.”
“Hemp protein is technically a complete protein but relatively deficient in lysine. For that reason I'm using soy milk as my base. Alternatively I'd mix it half and half with rice protein or add pumpkin, chia and flax seeds.”
“This really useful and helpful plus great idea organic hemp protein powder which is also made from 51% of plant based protein doing awesome job I must admit, there are 100% raw ingredients, recommended daily dose is to take and mix with water, juice, smoothie 2 teaspoons (about 10g) and this bottle contains 235g of this amazing protein powder, so this bottle will be enough for about 23 times of use.I also really like that it contains really big amount of fibre (19g per 100g).I can easily recommended to anyone for this really reasonable price.”
“Delighted with quality, especially as it’s organic. It’s also free from any colours, preservatives, fillers or sweeteners.Plus it’s free from soya and gluten.Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. You get 235grams in a brown coloured glass bottle, screw lid.Excellent best before date of March 2027.I’ve used this company before and always extremely happy with quality. Highly recommend, thank you.”
“This review is for the KIKI Health - Organic Hemp Protein - Plant-Based Protein Powder - Rich in Magnesium and Omega 3 - Contains All 21 Amino Acids and 8 Essential Fatty Acids - Post Workout Shake - 235g.As a qualified NT, I find Hemp protein assimilates well, and this one is no exception. It has a mild, slightly nutty flavour and blends easily into smoothies or shakes. The texture is fine but slightly grainy, as expected with hemp protein. I also like that it’s a natural source of magnesium, omega-3, and all essential amino acids. Having used products from this brand before, I trust their quality, and this protein powder meets my expectations.”
