This is a good quality pea powder, with a fine texture, making it easy to blend. It has no discernible flavour, so it's perfect for adding to smoothies, porridge, soups and so on, just to boost the protein content.Although the contents had settled in the jar during transport, making it look less than full when first opened, the weight was accurate.Different brands of pea protein on Amazon vary significantly in price, and whilst this Kiki protein may be slightly more expensive than others, it feels worth the five stars.

I love to use more natural and vegan-friendly protein powder rather than the very artificial ones and pea powder is my preferred option. This is a fantastic blend which mixes in easily into a good consistency with a decent amount of protein per serving. The glass jar is a nice touch over a plastic tub but its little pricey compared to some option, but would recommend trying if in your budget as very impressed with it.

Nicely presented in a glass jar you can tell from the 'get go' this is a good supplement.I have recently given up smoking and have been on a mission with health foods and life style, plus as a vegetarian bordering Vegan I struggle to get the correct amount of protein, iron and minerals intake without eating loads of eggs or spinach and lentils as I am really not a heavy egg / dairy food consumer, and much prefer vegetable or plant alternatives in my diet. This is one that I can mix into oat milk which is fabulous and a quick and easily absorbed way of securing some of these essential minerals. Whilst it's a mildly acquired taste to drink it this way, I have gotten used to it. Obviously as with all supplements it's always best to check dosage levels etc. Very happy with this product I have no qualms in purchasing this again for my mission to hopefully 'pay back' some of the damage I have done to my health and wellness and support health in the future.

As a senior bodybuilder I like to obtain my protein from a variety of natural sources: red meat, chicken, fish, eggs, nuts, cheese and milk etc. However, to achieve my daily protein requirement of 125g there are times when I need to turn to supplements like whey powder or pea protein powder. This pea protein from KIKI Health tastes fine on its own though I prefer to sprinkle one teaspoon of it on my porridge each morning for a quick protein boost. I do like that this product is organic and contains no artificial colours, preservatives, sweeteners or fillers. The manufacturer also gets a big thumbs up from me for supplying this product in a recyclable brown glass jar with a steel recyclable screw lid. Given its quality and its environmentally-friendly container, this is a supplement I’m happy to recommend.

As someone who carefully curates my nutrition to support optimal health, I was eager to explore a high-quality plant-based protein that aligns with my dietary approach. Given my focus on wholefood nutrition, I sought a product that is not only rich in protein but also provides additional micronutrient benefits without unnecessary additives.Pea protein is an excellent source of plant-derived protein, with an amino acid profile that supports muscle maintenance, metabolic function, and satiety. This product provides over 83% protein content, making it a highly concentrated source of essential amino acids. Notably, it contains substantial amounts of lysine, arginine, and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are essential for muscle synthesis, immune function, and overall metabolic health. Compared to animal-derived proteins, pea protein exhibits a favourable digestibility score (PDCAAS), making it an optimal alternative for individuals avoiding dairy or soy-based proteins. One of the more intriguing aspects of this particular formulation is its micronutrient content. Independent analysis indicates that it provides an excellent source of iron, zinc, and copper—key minerals involved in oxygen transport, enzymatic reactions, and immune function. Pea protein is naturally rich in non-haem iron, which, when paired with vitamin C sources, can significantly contribute to daily iron intake, particularly for those following plant-based diets. While it does contain a modest amount of salt (2g per 100g), this is well within reasonable limits for most individuals and does not present a major dietary concern. From a scientific perspective, the bioavailability of pea protein compares favourably to other plant-based sources. Studies have demonstrated that pea protein has a digestibility coefficient similar to whey, facilitating efficient absorption and utilisation. Furthermore, research suggests that pea protein may support cardiovascular health by contributing to reduced blood pressure via the inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), a mechanism also observed with whey-derived peptides. Additionally, the high arginine content in pea protein enhances nitric oxide production, which is beneficial for vascular function.Given the extensive research supporting pea protein’s benefits, it is unsurprising that leading nutritionists and researchers advocate for its use as an alternative to animal-derived proteins. Research published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition underscores the efficacy of pea protein in promoting muscle thickness and recovery, particularly when combined with resistance training.I specifically chose this product due to its organic certification, single-ingredient formulation, and commitment to sustainable sourcing. The absence of artificial additives ensures purity, which is essential for those avoiding unnecessary excipients. In terms of practical use, I incorporated this protein into my diet by blending it into smoothies and oatmeal, and its neutral flavour allowed for easy adaptation. My experience with this product has been highly positive. I found that it digests well, with no bloating or discomfort, an issue I have encountered with some other plant-based protein powders. The smooth texture allows for effortless mixing, making it a convenient option for those seeking a quick and effective protein boost. After consistent use, I noticed improved recovery post-exercise, which aligns with its high leucine and BCAA content. Additionally, my energy levels remained stable, likely due to its sustained amino acid release.Beyond its protein content, this supplement fits well into diverse dietary needs. Being entirely plant-based, it is an excellent choice for vegans and vegetarians. The organic certification further ensures it is free from pesticides and synthetic additives, making it a clean and conscientious choice for those prioritising food purity. Given the increasing reliance on ultra-processed foods, a high-quality protein powder like this offers a simple way to enhance nutrient intake without compromising dietary integrity. For optimal results, consuming this protein with a source of vitamin C (such as citrus fruits) can enhance iron absorption. It can be used post-exercise for muscle recovery or as part of a balanced meal to support satiety. The recommended dosage is approximately one tablespoon mixed into a liquid of choice, and its versatility allows for inclusion in both savoury and sweet preparations. At £6.43 per 170g container, this product offers excellent value, particularly given its organic status and high protein concentration. Compared to other organic plant-based protein powders on the market, it remains competitively priced without compromising on quality. The packaging is practical and ensures product integrity, making it convenient for daily use. Based on my experience and the supporting scientific evidence, I confidently recommend this supplement to anyone seeking a clean, effective plant-based protein.Fun Fact: Unlike some other plant-based proteins, pea protein has a low phytic acid content, meaning it doesn’t interfere significantly with mineral absorption, making it an excellent choice for those concerned about nutrient bioavailability.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. If you are looking for a high-quality plant protein that aligns with both health and sustainability, this is undoubtedly a strong choice.

I got this for my Granddaughter who at 17 is becoming a bit of a fitness fanatic. She has been buying all kinds of heavily processed foods claiming all manner of protein boosting benefits when on reading the labels ingredients they were full of things that no health fanatic would go near. So this pea protein is a far better way of delivering the extra protein she believes she needs and in a far healthier way.If we look at the list of ingredients we simply see 100% Organic Pea Protein. Compare this to some supermarket products which include cheap artificial sweeteners (or even worse a ton of sugar) as well as preservatives colouing and fillers. So this product in its naked form is neutral in taste. Unflavored would be another way to describe it.It is ORGANIC and VEGAN which is a huge advantage of other powders. She mixes it with a ripe mashed banana and now loves the full bodied sweeter flavour. She has mixed it in a blender with peanut butter and loves that too.Value: This product in my view is excellent value for the price.I see that some people have mixed this in shakes, smoothies, pancakes, porridge, or other foods. She has said that using this in the morning keeps her feeling full for far longer too.All in all for the price and quality this has to be top rated!

I ordered the KIKI Health Organic Pea Protein Powder. This comes sealed in a brown glass jar to protect it from the sun. It contains 170 grams of pea protein powder which is fine and dry and a creamy light brown colour. The best before date on the bottom of the jar is a year and 10 months from now so there is plenty of time to use it. I like that it is made from organic yellow peas and I like the Kiki Health brand. I mix a teaspoon into stews, so this jar will last me ages. I can recommend it.

Trying to get enough protein isn't easy as a vegetarian, so I try and use supplements to top up what I get from food. I'd tried other powders before (not pea protein ones) so was glad to try this pea protein. I added a teaspoon to my white coffee and was glad to find it wasn't as gritty as the other powders and it didn't have a particularly noticeable flavour. There was only a slight sediment at the bottom of my cup and I will happily add it to my drinks and cereals. At £6.43 for a 170g bottle, it seems reasonably priced.
