“Another amazing product from Kiki Health, Cacao is great in it's natural form, so good for adding to smoothies, or with other products like mushrooms, This is such a versatile product, not just for health, but great for baking, or adding to coffees.Tastes great”
“With 100% organic ingredients, this is a premium product. The cacao has a rich chocolatey flavour and is absolutely delicious added to porridge or smoothies. Plus it’s high in iron, copper and other essential minerals. Yum!”
“Unlike mainstream cocoa powder, this product is made from unroasted cacao beans. It is Peruvian, made of the more prized Criollo beans, and certified organic under European labelling and by the Soil Association. Company based in Cyprus. Beans grown and processed in Peru. Final manufacture in the UK.It smells and tastes like a quality product. I have just drunk it as a hot drink with one teaspoon cacao powder, two teaspoons demerara sugar, a small amount of soya milk to mix it into a paste, and hot water. It was quite delicious. It's pricey, but if you drink cocoa this is a treat - a serious upgrade from ordinary hot chocolate.”
“This cacao powder is absolutely gorgeous in taste and texture. I am adding it to my coffee to counter the change I've made from regular milk to soy milk, I find the chocolate taste to introduce a kind of creaminess that was lost when I stopped using dairy milk.I've never really tasted a cacao powder quite like this one, it's such a sublime flavour. I think all of this effort Kiki have gone to to source beans with very specific properties has paid off. Kiki has good values with their choice of beans.”
“I’ve tried a lot of cocoa powder brands. I usually use it to make milkshakes, ice cream and mousses, where the flavour of the cocoa can really come through. For baking, this is slightly less important. This KIKI cocoa powder is raw (non-alkalised / not Dutch-processed). Most cocoa powder has gone through a process that reduces the acidity of the cocoa and leads to a more pronounced chocolatey flavour. Raw cocoa can be a little bit strange but tends to have a more floral, fruity flavour. The KIKI cocoa powder is tasty in its own right. I made a simple milkshake of just the cocoa powder, icing sugar and milk and it’s very nice.”
