“A quality brand I trust, this is a bottle of 90 capsules, with a recommended dose of 1 or 2 a day. These easy to swallow, top and harvested sustainably.sea moss is one of the best plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids.”
“The price may seem a bit steep compared to other supplements, but with 90 capsules to a bottle / a 3 month supply, the price is actually on par with a lot of the more reasonable options out there. The capsules are quite large and made of that plastic-y feeling coating which can sometimes stick itself to the back of your throat, so I find I have to exert extra effort to get them down. They smell and taste a little fishy, but if you like seafood or seaweed snacks, as I do, that's not a huge negative.”
“These capsules are typical size and easy enough to swallow. I appreciate the fact it is suitable for vegans with a vegetarian capsule. You are getting 90 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of one then they will last you around three months. Pretty good value for money. You get a decent expiry date so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider and lot more convenient than taking it in it's original form.”
“Nice quality packaging and presentation. You can actually see the processed moss inside each pill, which is a nice change compared to the usual powder-type filled capsules. It gives a more organic feel about them; that they are all-natural.The pills are easy enough to swallow, and beneficial to my body in many ways by giving extra nutrients that I wouldn't normally be getting, so that must be good! And with them not been completely processed into a powder form, a bit of fibre too.Overall, they're decent value, I quite like them!”
“This Organic Sea moss from Kiki health, appears to be good quality and from a reputable brand with a wide retail presence. It is also Soil Association certified which is reassuring. It comes in a properly sealed glass bottle and the capsules are medium-sized and easy to swallow. You can see the sea moss pieces inside.I opened a capsule and tried the contents to see what it was like. It tasted very salty and gave a very strong evocation of the sea side. I really enjoyed it, especially the interesting texture of the sea moss as it became moist and softened.I am in good health so I don’t expect to notice any very sudden or obvious effect when I take a supplement but if I do, good or bad, I will update this review.”
“This is not my 1st sea moss supplement. In most aspects is as good as any other. Easy to swallow etc etc. It is, though, a tad dearer than some of the others I've had. So what is the additional expense?1. It's organic - and 'sustainably sourced'. So, decent eco credentials.2. It's well packaged, not in plastic but in glass (which is better in terms of how recyclable it is.) So, eco credentials, again.3. They have assayed the amount of iodine you get. This is important, as too much is a bad thing. This is the first sea moss supplement I have encountered that tells you the iodine content, and I'm VERY pleased. I have more control over my nutrition because of it.So, you get what you pay for, I guess.Recommended.”
“I tend to view sea moss like kelp as it isn’t too dissimilar, and kelp has been a part of my diet for a long time. Latterly, I’ve been taking quite a bit of sea moss too, and like kelp it seems to contribute well to my health. There’s nothing immediately noticeable when taking this, but like a diet rich in fruit and vegetables, if it keeps my in general good health and stops (or slows down) potential problems then I’m fine with that.Sea moss has been used a lot in traditional medicine, and no wonder as it’s nutrient-dense and there’s good healthful properties associated with it. Nutrient-wise, it’s particularly rich in minerals (a whopping 92, I believe) which helps provide the diet with these important elements. The KIKI brand seems to specialise in pure, additive-free products, so I’m starting to look out for it more as I believe that if consuming health foods then they really ought to be entirely healthy. The Irish seas moss here is sustainably-sourced and organic, which further adds value to the brand. Please note that sea moss contains a good amount of iodine, which although beneficial, one needs to be careful that there isn’t too much in the diet, so it’s probably best to avoid taking this supplement with other similar products containing it. That’s why I take either kelp or sea moss, but never the two together. There’s 90 day’s supply in this bottle so is an ideal amount for taking as a batch at a time, and then maybe switching to something else for a while. For the amount and quality status the price is reasonable. Capsules are easy to swallow with no aftertaste.”
“90 vegan, easy to swallow capsules of Irish organic carrageen sea moss (Chondrus crispus.)Recommended dosage is for one or two capsules per day with sufficient water, preferably with food to aid absorption.Packaged in a fairly dark brown glass jar, with a sealed metal screw top cap.Information/instructions, are printed on the label. An excellent source of Iodine, minerals and vitamins. When harvested, is dried naturally/slowly in order to retain maximum nutrients. The Emerald Isle doesn't just offer green grass or shamrocks but also rich green sea weed.”
