“I use the large silica litter. This mat is fabulous. It is made up of 2 layers. The first layer has honeycomb type shapes that grab the litter as it comes out on kitty paws. The second layer is the flat mat. You separate the layers in order to release the litter that is caught. It is easy...a stroke of genius. I am definitely buying another one of these.”

“Hi. I recently purchased the large catch all mat. I like the larger size. However, you need to measure the area you going to use it in and look at the size of the matt. When I first looked at the price I felt it was a bit expensive and was a bit hesitant about the purchase. So when the mat arrived I set up the Kitty Poo Litter Box on top of the Matt and left about 3/4 of the mat to catch the letter. Yes, I could put the box off the matt but Jake is a litter kicker even with the dome. The quality of the mat made me feel better about the purchase too! Give it a try! It does a good job with the clay litter and hopefully the silica too!”
“This is a perfect mat! It is heavy enough to stay put on floor or carpet. If there is spillage, all I have to do is to pick up the mat, fold it a bit to create a channel, then pour the litter back into the box. Or, if the I'm not sure the spilled litter is clean, I can just use my hand vac to suck it up. So far, I've washed out the mat once: vacuumed out any spilled litter, placed it in my tub/shower, poured on a bit of mild detergent and brushed a bit, rinsed with the shower, shook off excess water, then just hung it over the shower railing to dry.”
