I like it but I’ve changed to delivery every 3 weeks and had to order this extra bag because with even only one cat there is not enough litter in the initial shipment. It’s hard to see on my tile floor since it’s clear and the tiles are light beige. The cat likes it that’s all that matters!”
“My cat and I love this litter. It’s easy to scoop the poop but not have to worry about trying to scoop smelly urine. You just stir it around and all the urine smell is gone. I had another box with different litter but now they won’t use that one at all. I think they like the very fine grains that is really easy to scratch in. They seem to love scratching in it! “I ordered the fine silica starter set. The setup was super easy and as soon as I placed it next to the old litter, my kitten was immediately drawn to the fine silica and used it immediately! I'm not kidding she went ahead and did her business there and never looked back at the old litter box setup. It's very easy to scoop out and simply stir the urine. I will say I have noticed a significant amount of dust in the fine silica powder which concerns me. I can see the fine crystalline dust particles floating and swirling around me as I scoop the litter I can only imagine it's worse when the kitten is in there digging around. I don't want kitten inhaling the silica dust much lees myself or my children as it can lead to severe health issues. I will switch to the large silica to see if I notice a difference. Otherwise, that will be the end of our use with silca and will stay with the previous non dust brand we used.”
“Switched to the fine grain because the older formula hurt when you stepped in on it (we have wood floors). I don't believe this new formula, the fine grain, does as good of a job though. We have just two cats, and two boxes - and get shipment every 3 weeks. By week two the grains are all yellow and already getting stinky. And I stir vigourously each day and scoop the poop out daily as well. Still love the convenience, just wish it was working as well as it used to.”
