“I subscribe to 2 boxes and litter. My cat prefers to pee in one and poop in the other. I scoop and stir daily. I love that the litter controls the smell however by the 4th week it's a struggle with the box he pees in. I keep an extra bag on hand and will add half a bag to make it through the last week or I'll order delivery sooner, especially if I will have company.”

Since he tends to use one box mostly for peeing, you might try swapping the locations of the two boxes halfway through the month. Cats are creatures of habit with their space, and simply switching their spots could encourage him to distribute use more evenly. That could help extend the life of both boxes and reduce the need for a mid-month top-up.
