“My old manwas declawed before I took him home 6 years ago at the age of 7. He has very sensitive feet as a result and needs a fine grained litter. Clumping litter was a smelling pain even with daily scooping, and Thomas tracked it everwhere. Switched to silica a while back, but found it incredibly dusty, and had supply issues. This stuff seems to be available, and best of all. Isn't dusty.”
“My furby “Lucky” was a bit leery of this stuff in the beginning - took awhile before he figured out what it was for. Jumped in the box and scratched around a bit, and his ears perked straight up with the realization that it was a new toilet and immediately used it for that purpose. Looks like it’s going to work out. I do wish the grains were smaller. ;”
“We tried the Silicia first, and noticed that we had a lot less "waste" in general, but the big pieces were all over the floor, and if you walk on socks and step in them, it hurts. But because we liked having less "waste" we decided to try the fine-grain. And this was the better option for us. It is a little bit dusty when you are doing the scooping, but it can't be completely perfect I guess. I would definitely recommend it, if you can live with having a little bit more dust near the litterbox”
