We love the thicker litter as it’s easier to clean when some escapes the litter cabinet. As long as you stir 1-2 times a day the litter stays great and odor free.

Unfortunately the large grain isn’t that great. However the fine grain silica is amazing. My cats can’t cover their stuff with the large grain so I’ll be buying the fine grain litter from now on.

I love this product. The smell is decreased significantly from other litters and having a new box each month makes changing the litter easier and less messy.

I had ordered a bag of their diatomaceous litter and couldn’t stand the moldy, mildew smell of it. When I called, the company offered to replace that bag with one of the silica bags. As advertised, there is no odor after two weeks. The solids are easy to pick up and flush, then a quick stir of the litter in the pan. I do find that there is some tracking and so keep a small broom and dustpan by the litter box. Overall, I am pleased both with the silica product and the customer service. It is such a delight not to have clumps of urine soaked litter in the box.

I tried the course silica this time because it is supposed to be less dusty/cloudy. It works great, but it does not stop odor as much as the fine grain silica seems to. After just two weeks, it is "difficult" to breathe when you are cleaning the poo out of the litter box, which I do multiple times a day so that the "brilliant" puppy doesn't EAT it... I fear that in the remaining two weeks I will need a has-mat suit and breathing apparatus. I WILL say that this is only when your RIGHT over the box, but one step away, and there is no odor. I am going back to the fine-grain. It's not really that cloudy anyway...

My cat pees a lot, so in order to keep the odor down, I have to change litter every two weeks.
