“I have 4 indoor/outdoor cats and keep 2 litter boxes in the house. The fine grain in one and large slica grain in the other. Both are excellent at odor control, but unfortunately even with the mats my wild things track both products all over the place.”
“We are not habitual litter cleaners which works (kinda) for us because our cats arent picky and we have 4 litter boxes for 2 cats. BUT was sick of the smell and how much of a pain it was to clean the litterbox and have that amonia smell stuck in your nose all day. We tried the large silica from KittyPoo and loved it. We scoop and stir like once a week- the stirring doesnt really seem necessary for us because our cats sit there digging for like 5 minutes after they go. The large was amazing but was super loud in our plastic top entry litter boxes. We got the small silica this time and it is PERFECT same noise level of normal litter but without the smell and all the scooping. Reminder- we scoop maybe once a week...or every other week and there is zero smell. Its been about a month with the large silica and still no smell. My cats took immediately to the small silica and since its so much quieter this is what i think we will stick with. Definitely never going back to normal litter. Ever.”
