“I originally purshased the Silica because we have been using the Fine Grain with our older cat and our new kitten had an issue with stepping on her "pile" after covering it up & getting a mess of poop & litter stuck to her feet. I thought that maybe something with a little more bulk would help the little klutz. The product does work well in it's functionality, but unfortunately our kitten thought the little pebbles were toys & spent more time in the box playing than doing her business! Overall, though, the Silica is a fine product for anyone who doesn't have a little kitten with a big play streak. Thank you for making such amazing products! PS - our kitten is getting better at avoiding her piles, with some help from her big sister!”
