I clean my two litter-boxes everyday but the pee/ammonia smell can be really overpowering.

The pellets get everywhere. The clumps of urine stick to the bottom of the box. Have to scrap them out

We had been using the fine silica but we got a new litter box and wanted to try the soy one because it clumped. The Oder was terrible. Didn’t mask or contain the Oder.

Love how it clumps. Easy to scoop, no dust from it.

I’ve worried about our cat breathing silica dust, a known carcinogen, since the last 2 cats died, one of lung cancer and the other of a tumor in her sinuses. Have tried every low dust clumping clay litter on the market. Many claim 99.99% dust free but it’s simply not true. Now transitioning to soy litter. Refused to buy any from China, we grow plenty of soy in the U.S. No more dust, amazingly little tracking, clumps nicely, no issues with odor. Our cat hasn’t even thrown up at all during the past month since we started to use this new stuff; he’s not ingesting clay particles when he cleans his paws after using the box. Such welcome improvements, such a huge relief.

My cat was curious as to why there were soybeans in his box, but wouldn't use it, so I have no clue how it worked, which is why the neutral rating. I really liked the smell & wish I would have tried crushing the bean pellets to see if that would have made a difference. It's such a drastic difference in texture as a full pellet, and if he had liked it, this would have been my go to. The best of both worlds - no dust, no tracking.
