“This litter, I think, is better than the silicon crystals. The silicon crystals seem to hurt my cat's feet, and she urinates other places in the house. The Diatom litter is less irritating to her, and she uses the letterbox for all of her needs. It seems to reduce the odor, compared to conventional litter, and makes less of a mess.”

“I've been using the silica gel litter for years, but I recently decided to try out the diatomite litter. The product seemed perfectly fine; my cat just did not like it and chose to do his business on the mat outside the box instead of using this litter. So we switched back to silica gel, which is tried and true with him. This litter may work perfectly fine for others. It just didn't work for us.”
