“While I enjoy the ease of use with this litter and disposable box, the odor control does not last a month. After about 2 weeks, I started to notice the unmistakable ammonia smell that comes with a dirty cat litter. If I have to have a box delivered every 2-3 weeks, it becomes far too expensive. I am trying the silica next to see if it does any better. Fingers crossed.”
“I love the whole idea with the disposable box and litter sent every month. However, my first month I thought I would try to diatomite litter and I didn't think it masked the smell very well. I will try the clumping clay next time.”
“I’m trying a different litter from my original, and I think that it’s smelling more than the crystals. I changed from the crystals because they were being tracked around by the cats, and not comfortable to step on. That said, it’s nice to not have to scrub litter boxes when it’s time to change them.”
“I decided to try the diatomite but have decided to change back to the fine grain silica. The diatomite tracks much more, it's all along the path kitty walks from the bathroom.”
