“This was honestly so horrible that I needed to go buy an emergency bag of silica litter at the grocery store to replace it. It started smelling within two days and just got worse and worse. By the end of the week the whole house smelled. This is by far one of the worst litters I’ve used. I normally use the fine grain silica and wanted to try something new. I am sticking to my usual now.”
“I changed the litter to the diatomite litter because my cat Lily was refusing to use her litter box at all. It has not been the success I thought. If she has a choice she’s still using my rugs as her litter box. I’m not sure what to do next!”
“I have always gotten the silica litter. I decided to give this a try after reading the description. Even with a two cat household, the silica stays odor free for at least 3 weeks. The diatomite, I can smell after about a week. Switching back to the silica. Overall love the company and the litter boxes. This medium was just not the right fit for our household.”
