While there is a weird smell to it that isn't unpleasant when first opened it does absolutely NOTHING to cover the smell of the box once used. Won't be using that again.

We have been using Kitty Poo Club for years and have been very pleased with the silica litter. I switched to the diatomite litter hoping for less dust, as the silica litter leaves a fine dust all over the room that the boxes are in…. The diatomite definitely produced significantly less dust, but the urine oder this last week and half before the new boxes are delivered is intense. I needed to replace the litter, which completely defeats the purpose of having the boxes delivered. I have switched back to the silica.

Our cat was having bladder infection issues with traditional litter. Not anymore! This is a game changer. Virtually no dust, and so easy to clean, not to mention I don’t have to worry about clumps stuck to the sides of the bin! The coating to the box is wonderful and knowing there is a new one coming every month takes the worry out of it. Oh oh oh! Not to mention the savings as we cut our litter cost in half. Needless to say, we’re very satisfied customers!

My cat easily made the transition to the new litter. It’s easy to scoop just the poos and stir up to absorb urine. But it does get an ammonia like odor after about 3 weeks. I am alternating between the crystal and diatomite litters to decide which I like best. I do love having a disposable box rather that washing out my old plastic litter box

I've had cats for nearly half my life, and only this year did I realize I've been doing the litter wrong... This is the way to do it! No clump, renewal resources, and monthly clearing. Just need to scoop sometimes. Our cats seem happy, no more litter in-between the toes and in the bed!
