“I think this no fuss or muss litter idea is good. Less oder. No heavy litter containers ( before cleaning, after cleaning) I think the price is a bit high for the product. After all the box is cardboard.”
“for a cat that does not go outside and uses a litter box only the smell after about a week is awful It does not last a full month and I may have to go back to what I was using before”
“I’ve been using the soy litter for several months. I decided to try the diatomite earth just for comparison. It is very dusty, leaving a thin chalky layer all over everything. It also smells horrible. I have returned to the soy litter, which I can recommend. The system works well overall.”
“Let me preface by saying I love the subscription service, it makes things so much easier and less stressful. Was not a fan of the diatomite litter though. Even though it was being cleaned and mixed up daily, the odor control did not control well after about 1.5-2 weeks. I gave it a try for 2 months and both times the smell got really bad well before it was time to change. I’ve used silica litter in the last, so I switched from the diatomite to silica. I just changed it but I’m pretty confident that there won't be any issues. I like that you have different litter options to choose from in case one doesn’t work out.”
“I had been getting the clay litter, which I loved. But I wanted to try the non clumping type. Immediately I noticed that my cat scattered it far and wide every time he left the litter box. And even stirring the litter every day, I noticed a distinct cat pee odor that I didn’t have at all with the clay type. After daily sweeping for a week, I just went and bought the clay litter again. I won’t change it again. One good thing about the diatomite was that it was extremely lightweight. But that wasn’t enough to make up for the down sides.”
