“This litter absorbs odors really well considering you only need to scoop the poop. The only downside is that it tracks quite a bit more then KittyPoo’s regular clumping clay litter.”
“I was excited to try this type of litter & I love that it’s low dust! I love the waterproof disposable litter box - it’s better than the ones that don’t have the waterproof lining. This litter starts to stink quickly even with scooping & stirring every day. It has a very distinct odor. My cat also tracks it all over the floor. I got the dome & put a mat in front of the box lengthwise & he still gets it all over our floors. I’m going to try the silica litter to see if it’s any better. I may keep ordering the boxes, but change to another brand litter as Kitty Poo silica is more expensive than others!”
“I really like this litter and service. The boxes are nice and it makes the whole process easy. I am in the process of trying different litters to see which one I like the most. I have changed a couple times now. The Diatomite litter has no dust or particles that fly into the air when changing it. However, there is a bit of tracking with my cats. I tried the fine silica litter and it was pretty dusty, even when just using the scooper. Although, I liked the feel of the fine silica better than the diatomite. My cats like either, they enjoy the freshness every month and use it right away when I put it down. The service is great and I would recommend this product to all. Thanks.”
“This is the one. I like the soy litter but it turns to a gluey mess when wet. I like the diatomite litter because the kitties like it. It’s a winner.”
“I normally get the fine silica litter and decided to switch it up and try the diatomite to see if it tracked less but still neutralized the smell. I came to realize it didn’t neutralize the smell at all no matter how much a scooped it. After about 2 weeks, I couldn’t take it anymore and bought litter from the store to replace it”
“I love the size and shape of this disposable litter box. It is big enough for my small cat to eat in and around but has walls high enough for accidents. I tried the diatomite litter for its low dust rating. However the literature granules made for really bad litter tracking for several feet around the box. For now I think I'll be going back to clumping options”
“Had to add litter the first month the ammonia smell became pretty bad but seeing how the second month goes with adding new litter throughout the month.”
