“I liked this litter at first but after only a few days it was so stinky! The urine smell was so bad after just one week (with 2 cats), I ended up tossing it and going back to the silica. For reference, I change my silica boxes every two weeks). I wanted to love this because it’s way less dusty than the silica, but the odor control is definitely not as good.”
“I LOVE kitty poo club and the silica litter has been an incredible product for use, order trapping, and tracking. I decided to try out diatomite as it had great ratings. I’m not a fan of order trapping ability compared to the silica, but the reason I’m switching back to the silica would be the tracking. Our kitty is a long hair which could be part of why it’s tracks so easily but I have never experienced so much kitty litter everywhere. Not loving that. Would not recommend if your cat or kitty is a long hair or likes to vigorously paw in their litter-it will track like crazy”
“This didn't last near as long as the clay litter as far as odor protection goes. We had to replace it after the 2nd week, instead of after the 4th week with the clay litter. It was nice to not worry about clumping, however.”
“My two cats do like the box, I however am still on the fence, its not as odor free as I expected. At times I think a month between deliveries is a bit long.”
“This litter is terrible! The cats track it everywhere, I even have the large mat in front of the box, it doesn't absorb the smell, it's just the worse, a waste of money.”
