“We are hooked on the boxes and so are our cats. We’ve tried the different litters and the favorite paws down is the fine silica. The cats love the texture and we love the lack of odor and mess! We recently tried the diotomite and one of the cats just didn’t like it. We’ll see if he changes his mind but for now, why mess with success?”
“Have been using the silica, but thought I would give diatomite a try. Not impressed with odor control, it gets stuck to bottom of the litter box, and too much dust. Going to switch back to silica.”
“Box is solid and doesn't leak. Love just tossing it, after using it for a month, rather than rinsing out a plastic bin. Diatomite litter is worthless. Within one week, it reeks of cat urine. I scoop the box every day, but it still smells to high heaven. We're just going to order the box, and use our own litter.”
