Standard Disposable Litter Box (Diatomite) Reviews

3.7 Rating 913 Reviews
It’s supposed to not stink. Especially when it’s scooped daily. I’ve had mine two and a half weeks. I bought a new litter box today and threw my Kitty Poo boxes in the trash. The urine smell overtook my room!

We decided to try the diatomite because the cats had started pooping outside the silica box we were using. The cats liked the diatomite and it was easy to scoop. Our issue was it started smelling strong after only 1 week. We have switched back to the fine silica.

The box is good. No leaks. The litter is good and absorbent as long as I remember to stir it up and scoop it out. But man does it track all over the place!

I no longer have to spend time washing out litter boxes. I just throw the Kitty Poo box away every 4-5 weeks.

I'm still figuring out which litter works best for us, but so far I like it, and think it's a good deal.

We moved to a new home that came with a cat! Having two already and adding a third made for quite the smelly house. We tried kitty poo box and litter and the smelly was gone!

Having a new box each month is fantastic. I had to learn to control my scooping. I ran out of litter before the next month. I scooped too much and you don't really need to scoop the urine.

I have a diabetic cat and the crystal litter didn't stop smell of his pee. Going to change to clay and see if that works. I love the idea and the boxes are great.
