“I really wanted this to work. I am a customer who loves KittyPoo. I have been using clay litter, but thought I'd try diatomite because of the non clumping. When I opened the box I was immediately hit with a horrible mildew odor. Thankfully, customer service replaced it right away. I will try the soy next month. Love this service”
“I absolutely love everything else but the smell after 2 weeks was the worst I’ve ever smelled our cat box. It burned my eyes the urine smell was so strong and it’s in the laundry room right by our kitchen! I could smell it in the kitchen, that ain’t gonna work! So I’m switching to clay next time and really hoping that fixes the smell because I really love the disposable box and delivery!”
“We have been using the silica for a long time, but the dust was so bad that we decided to switch and try the diatomite…worst decision ever!! We have two cats and set up two boxes and despite continuous scooping and stirring, the ammonia smell was the worst of any litter we have ever used. We were running the vent fan 24/7 and keeping a candle lit because the smell was entirely overwhelming. We ordered new boxes (went back to silica) but while we were waiting, I bought a disposable litter box and regular clumping litter just so we could get the diatomite out of the house. It was absolutely HORRIBLE!!”
“This is the best litter! I’ve tried everything and NOTHING helped with the nasty smell of cat poop! This, I don’t know what’s in this litter but I have not spelt any cat poop since I’ve changed! I just ordered for my second month! The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is how ‘dust’ the litter is but this litter is still the best, you won’t find any better!”
