“We get monthly shipments of new, sturdy cardboard boxes with fresh, finely-grained silica litter. The mat that we ordered does a nice job of trapping much of the litter stuck to your kitty's paws. You still have to sweep a little, but it would be otherwise much worse. The litter is engineered to be non-toxic and doesn't have to be scooped as often after your cat pees. When your critter does #2, it hardens and dries it quickly, so we can dispose it in the Kitty Genie (a separate product). At the end of the monthly cycle, we just dump the box, including the litter (poops filtered out). Easy.”
“Nice idea to have the disposable box. Cats adjusted seamlessly. I like how there is less scooping involved although I find the fine-grain to be dustier than expected. The cats also scratch up the box but it’s held up pretty well. The dome option is great for messy digging kitties!”
