“I really love the Silica litter. I actually like the regular grain, but my cat gets it everywhere and it’s not as easy to sift the poop out as the fine grain and that was my other reason for changing to the fine grain from the regular grain. The one thing I can say that seems to be better on the regular grain is that it tends to absorb more urine and still be able to hold up well. Where as, the fine grain seems to need to be changed out sooner than the regular grain. They both seem to have their advantages, but the biggest advantage is that my room doesn’t smell like a litter box! Although, there was a urine smell for the first time pretty strong when I went to change out the litter this last time. I’m wondering if it’s because I didn’t change and stir often enough? I had sinus surgery and a bacterial infection in my blocked right sinus and was not feeling much like doing litter box duty! I’m going to definitely work at doing that better this month since, Praise the Lord the infection is gone and my sinuses have healed up! ❤️✝️”
“I had decided to try this litter and I’m not exactly thrilled. One thing I said it’s so much heavier than the silica fine Litter. It also doesn’t seem like the odor is controlled as well so I have now switched back to the silica”
“We’ve been part of The Kitty Poo Club a couple years now. When we first ordered we were so skeptical about the litter. My fear was that someone would walk into our loft and immediately smell cat. We were SO relieved that wasn’t the case. The little is amazing. Originally we started out with the bigger pellets but when they were running short due to supply chain issues during Covid, the sent us the fine powder version of the little. We loved it even more as it was easier to scoop. Our cat Agnes seems to work better with it as well. We ordered a couple extra boxes so we have backups if needed and then went on the rotating/recurring schedule. But instead of every 4 weeks we get the new box every 3 weeks. Works great. If you have a cat and want a clean smelling room where your cat box resides this product is for you believe me.”
