“Not a ton comes in it, but enough for my one cat to get her business done, when cleaning out the box, I notice that the silica still produces a good amount of dust, like the clay litter. Does do a good job of lowering the amount of odor, but still produces odor throughout the month, I put baking soda in to reduce the smell”
“I have two cats whom I love dearly, but I do not love the smell of cat urine. No matter what I did I felt like the house would always end up smelling like a littler box. I work in Animal Welfare, so access to a variety of litter is always easy for me at no or very little cost but all of those brands just weren’t getting the job done. “My last surviving cat ( lost one, my best friend for 16 years to old age and kidney failure) loves this litter, and so do I, it controls nasty smells extremely well, just keep scooping out the feline droppings, stir the remaining litter, and change it about every 30 days. This silicate is so much softer on my cat's paws than the old clay type litter, which I will never go back to. My little Mollly Polydactal loves it!”
