“We did several months with the regular silica. But the silica crystals do track and kinda hurt to step on. It is also loud when they paw at it. We decided to try the fine grain. It does not track and is much quieter. But we have decided to go back to the regular because the fine grain is very dusty. When you scoop and stir it will leave a dust cloud. If you do not have any breathing issues or have no problem with dust, go with the fine grain”
